I searched through the phonebook today
after a conviction for us all
which believes that nothing leads to nothing
and nothing propagates nothing

There are too many Marxist mediums
Liberal pens, Conservative channels
and too few eyes left

There are too many poets
with far too silent voices
and too many politicians
with far too loud mouths

There is too little jazz on the radio
but that has nothing to do with it
